Welcome to the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section's Closing Book Process page. This page is designed for State employees who need access to our forms in a spreadsheet format along with instructions. Timeline is as follows:
For Unaudited Agencies -
  • Closing Book Form due July 31, 2020
  • Compensated Absences information to FARS or O.T. for agencies not using wvOasis Kronos due July 10, 2020
For Audited Agencies -
  • Draft Financial Statements and Draft Forms due September 15, 2020
  • Final Financial Statements and Final Forms due October 15, 2020
  • Audit Notification Form should be submitted when any outside audit is scheduled
